Children learn through concrete experiences. By bouncing a ball, rolling a car downhill, by "washing dishes" in the sink; children learn about the world...and about themselves. They learn in predictable stages which cannot be rushed. And the role of adults is not so much to teach... but to encourage learning to happen.

Our Educational Philosophy...

Although we cannot replace the love and understanding that children receive at home, we do provide the educational tools and nurturing necessary for your child to grow...explore...discover...and learn. At the Sunshine Station Early Learning Center, no teacher, aide or volunteer is too busy for a needed hug, a word of caution or a smile. Our staff is actively involved in training workshops and sincerely committed to improving their skills in dealing with young children.
